Ronnie was born in Brixton, same year and month as David Bowie. Ronnie used to tell me how he knew David , prior to him becoming famous as they frequented the same night life disco scene. Like Bowie, Ronnie as we know always looked dapper and the tonic / mohair suits were his pride and joy . The news about Bowie brought back those wonderful memories described by Ronnie to me . xxx
